During the Buddhist Year 2536 mid of May, a four story high doll manufactory; name “Kder” in Nakhon Pathom caught fire. People in the factory were panicked running around, the factory’s security guard locked up the only exit to prevent any theft from happening. As the manufactory containing alot of burning materials, the fire spread rapidly. Factory’s manager who held the keys to the door was nowhere to be found. Hundreds of workers were forced to run to the highest level; the balcony which was right on top of the third level. Among them, there was a girl name Pairat Jeamkhuntod. She was working at the third level when the fire broke out.
In a short period, the fire was spread to the third level of the building. Workers that were at the balcony knew that they were left with no choice but to either jump off the building or burn to death. People who jumped down were either injured or fell to death. Pairat Jeamkhuntod knew that she had to jump; hopping a miracle would happen on her. When she was about to jump, she suddenly remember that her dad had gave her an amulet which she do not even know who’s the guru monk was and what was the purpose of the amulet is for. She held the amulet firmly in her palm and chanted “Luang Phor please help me” and jumped. When she landed, someone from the crowd carried her away to safety to let her have a good rest. When she regained conscious, she was happy to find out that she was still alive and surprisingly her legs were not injured. The crowd was curious about what they have seen and asked her, “Why are you standing there when you have landed on the ground?” They got a shocked when she questioned the crowd back “Was I in a standing position when I landed?”
At that point of time, someone from the crowd saw her gripping something in her palm and asked her to open her palm to find out what was in her palm. It’s turned out to be a Luang Phor Koon medal. From that day onwards, the story was spread throughout and eventually more people get to know about Luang Phor Koon.
The accident caused about two hundreds casualties. This manufactory was later named as
“Kder haunted doll manufactory”.
