On 22th November, Pol. Lt. Kusol Kaewsarapatneuk of Dan Khun Thot Police Station, Nakhon Ratchasima was informed about a fatal accident involving a pick-up truck and a six wheeler truck. He checked with the highway police of Dan Khun Thot District, Rescue Officers and Takian Subdistrict Rescuers at the scene on Sikhiu-Chaiyaphum Road No. 201 Km. 30, Kut Muang, Takhian Subdistrict, Dan Khun Thot District.
A bronze-coloured Isuzu pick-up truck with the number plate 8746 from Nakhon Ratchasima was involved. There were signs of wheels slippage,the vehicles over-turned a couple of times. In the driver seat, the police found the body of Mr. Somyot Phoomkokrak, 34 years old from Nakhon Ratchasima province. His body and head were heavily crushed. Tools were needed to pry the body out. During that time, there was another injured person inside the pick-up truck too. His name was Mr. Chow Phum Khok Rak, 51 years old, suffering from a slight injury on the head. Mr. Chow Phum, panicking after the incident, shared with people that Luang Phor Koon has saved his life. He was holding an amulet, Yod Tong Parisutto BE2541 Version 5 from Luang Phor Koon, Wat Banrai.
The six wheeler truck accident victim, Mr. Siriwat Aob Aun, 31 years old said that he was driving his six wheeler truck to sell agricultural crops at the purchasing yard. While waiting to turn in, the pick-up truck hit the rear of his truck before overturning. Initially, the officer did not determine who was at fault. The investigation will be carried out before proceeding with appropriate legal procedures.
